Phoxx 1 berth shelter

by EOX

The pros

This shelter is so small and discreet that it’s perfect for solo wild camping. Its low profile means it’s also going to stand up to strong winds. This all comes at a pretty good price point.

The cons

Even though this shelter is small it’s still quite heavy at almost 3 and a half pounds (1.58Kg). I’d prefer to spend some extra cash on a larger, lighter tent for thru-hiking.

Another problem I ran into was that it’s quite awkward fitting my pack in with me while I’m sleeping, but it was expected.
