Whether you like an epic trek to a mountain summit or a winding walk through a secluded forest, my mission is to show you that the best way to discover the world is on foot.
Nero Ultralight Backpack
This backpack is insanely light at just 10.9oz. It’s really well put together and Zpacks have really taken each element into consideration to keep the weight down. It’s made of a material called Dyneema Composite which is waterproof and really strong as well. The front pockets and roll down top also make it a really good pack for storage, accessibility and practicality.
You’re going to need a 7lb base-weight for this pack as it’s total load capacity is 20lbs. Which isn’t always a bad thing, but be mindful of this when choosing it and for what type of hiking you’ll be doing. The back pad is quite uncomfortable and makes your back super sweaty. And the lack of hep belt pockets turned me off slightly, although you can buy them separately.
